Walmart Baby Welcome Box

The first time I ordered one of these was back in November 2015. It was a month before Lilly was born. This is a the most recent one they sent me and while I like all the products they sent I am kind of pissed off that they are more for newborns.

When you pay $5 to get a Walmart Baby Box they are suppose to send you one for a newborn, than an infant one, and then a toddler one.

I already got the newborn one. That actually took about 4 months to get and she was already to big for some of the stuff they sent. I still used all the bath and body stuff though. This time I was expecting them to deliver on time since they had enough heads up. I was sad to find out I got another Newborn box when she literally just turned one a few days ago!

Yes, for $5 they send you some nice samples and coupons but I would rather go to Target or Babies R Us and get their free baby registry packs then pay $5 for the small amount they give you in this. Even Amazon's Baby Registry Welcome Box you pay $10 for is WAY better than this!!!

For as much money Walmart makes and you having to actually pay money for this you would think you would get some good stuff. Especially when your competitors are offering the same thing for FREE and with a ton more stuff including full sized products!

Epic fail Walmart!

Daddy Hugs by Karen Katz

Got this book as part of our first Father's Day with our daughter and it is also her first book.

She is 6 months old and although she can't read yet her daddy enjoys sitting down and reading it to her and teaching her how to turn the very easy thick pages.

The colors are very vivid and inviting and she smiles every time she looks at it. Plus it gives us more excuses to hug her a million times more!

*UPDATE* Lilly is now almost a year old and she is crawling everywhere now! She knows exactly where this book is now and turns the pages with ease. She points at the pictures and even leans down to kiss the book. Great purchase for anyone needing to gift for a baby shower or a baby!

Threadrock Happy First Father's Day Daddy Infant Bodysuit

I know I am super late posting this but I got this for Lilly to wear on her first Father's Day and I loved it. It is technically for boys but looked just as cute on her. I chose to get it in this color because it's one of her daddy's favorite colors but they come in a variety of other colors. This is the Turquoise one.

She was 6 months in this picture and the size was for a 6 month old. As you can see, there is still a lot of wiggle room for her and I did use it over and over again just to wear around the house and to bed for about 2 more months.

The material of the onesie is very high-quality. It's soft, stretchy, and stitched perfectly without any flaws. It is ribbed. I washed and dried it on low without any shrinkage issues. The dye on the shirt does not rub off over time or wash off in the washer. The letters on the onesie do not peel neither.

I will be for sure purchasing more baby clothing from them in the future. I am in love with all their other cute onesies that say stuff on Amazon.

Baby Lilly's First Halloween Costume

I decided against buying a cliche costume this year. The thought of shelling out $50 for something she will only wear once just didn’t sit right with me. Plus, I just wanted it to be simple and cute.

The package came vacuumed seal which was nice because that is rare a seller goes that far to ensure your clothing is protected when you buy online.

The onesie can also be used more than once and was made with great quality material. This was a big reason I chose to buy it. The headband was also amazing and super stretchy and durable. The bow was secured well and didn't pop off even after all her tugging. The tutu was good. Not the best I’ve seen but got the job done for a toddlers costume and was durable as well. I did have to sit there and separate all the pieces on the tutu which I am assuming is because of the vacuum seal smooshing the mesh together. This is the only reason I rated this outfit a 4 instead of a 5. I do wish it had come with come little leggings or leg warmers.

This seller also has other Halloween outfits you can buy for babies and toddlers. They also have clothing for other holidays and seasons like Christmas. They are super affordable, high quality, and offer fast shipping options on Amazon Prime.

Amazon Baby Registry Welcome Box

I was so thankful to get this welcome box from Amazon when I created a baby registry. I am still to this day using some of the stuff I got in it and it has been 8 months since Lilly has been born. I know it's a first come first served kind of thing which means the products I got might be different than what you will get but they still give you a little of all the basis that you will need plus extra stuff for you mama!
The box is completely FREE if you are an Amazon Prime member. In order to be eligible for the box you have to use the Jumpstart program on your registry. This is the thing at the top where it gives you subjects to find products to add to your registry and made it super easy to make sure I got everything on my list I wanted. Sort of like a make shift check list. After you use that and someone makes a $10 purchase off your registry than your box will be shipped to you. I went ahead and purchased my $10 off my list for myself so I could get the box as soon as possible.
Yes, I know, sounds like a lot of hoops to jump through but in the end it's FREE stuff for baby worth at least $35 which is hard to come by anymore. But hey you were going to make that list anyways and there is always someone in the family who is addicted to Amazon like I am! Here is a list of the stuff I got:

Gerber Organic Apples, Blueberries and Spinach Pouch
Gerber Rice Cereal Pouch (.53oz)
Gerber Good Start Gentle Ready To Feed Formula (8.45oz)
Playtex 4 oz Nurser Bottle with 5 Drop-Ins Liners
Philips Avent Contemporary Freeflow Pacifier
Avent Night Breast Pads (2 pads)
Water Wipes- 10 wipes pack
Aquafor (.14 oz)
Babyganics Moisturizing Daily Lotion- Chamomile Verbena (2oz)
Burt's Bees Baby Bee Nourishing Lotion (1oz)
Burt's Bees Soap Bark & Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream (1oz)
L'Oreal Sulfate Free Thickening Shampoo- Rosemary Juniper (2oz)
L'Oreal Sulfate Free Thickening Conditioner- Rosemary Juniper (2oz)

Hipster Urban Backpack

(I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. All opinions are of my own.)

I have been looking for a small/medium sized backpack that was durable and had many pockets but still looked simple, fashionable, and gender neutral so my boyfriend and I can both use it as a diaper bag. This backpack is all of those things. Up until now we have been using my big purse as a diaper bag and as she gets older and closer to the one year mark it is just not cutting it anymore because she has so much stuff that I need to take with me every where on top of my wallet, wic folder, etc. This back pack looks on the smaller sized compared to normal school sized backpacks but it really has a lot of space. I can put diapers, wipes, baby clothes, bibs and burp towels, my wallet, wic folder, and bottles and stil have plenty of room left over. It also comes with a laptop carrier which would be perfect to take on a plane but it would only fit the smaller notebook type laptops or surfaces. My laptop is the larger kind and was too long. It is made of some heavy material that won't tear easily and can be used for a long time but it is super lightweight feeling and sleek and stylish looking. Would also be perfect for college students or people who ride bikes everywhere and use backpacks to carry their stuff.

Baby Boom Owls In A Tree Baby Crib Bumper

I have been using this bumper for my new baby girl for 6 months now and we love it. The bumper is really soft and durable and feels like it is made of premium material. When we washed it in hot water and tumbled low it did not shrink at all and held up well without any rips or deforming. I love the colors and how it goes well with the rest of the items in her owl themed room that are from other companies. She is always laughing and cooing "talking" to the owls on her bumper. We call them her friends lol!

Zoozik Baby Bandanna Set: Strawberry

(Disclaimer: I purchased this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. All opinions are of my own.)

This was the first time I've bought baby bandanna bibs and I really love them. They are super soft from the fleece on the inside and were soft enough for my baby to wear comfortably without any clothes on. They have two buttons that make the neck strap adjustable and you can adjust it as baby grows so they last you for a few years. Super cute vivid colors and patterns. Really feels and looks like a premium product. Will for sure buy some of the other sets.

WallStickersUSA Wall Decal: Tree & Owls XL

I know there are a lot of complaints about this product but I bought this anyways because it perfectly matched my nursery bedding, it was the cheaper option, and I liked the look of it the best! I have no idea why anyone has had a problem with this product because I have not had any of there problems! Not one sticker has fell off my wall since I put it on there 3 or 4 weeks ago! All the stickers were there as well with no damage and the product includes a picture and numbers to follow which sticker to put where but some of them we did free hand! Maybe newer painted glossy wall the stickers don't stay on because our wall is just the original white and kind of chalky feeling to the touch! We also took our time placing the stickers making sure there was no air bubbles! Took us about 30-45 minutes to do the whole thing!
